Management Committee

The Management Committee is the governing body for the Association. Its role is to set the Association’s strategic direction, ensure that objectives are met and take responsibility for the Association’s compliance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Code of Conduct.

Lifestyle Connections Association Inc. is seeking volunteer Management Committee members.

Our monthly meetings last for two hours.  As a Committee Member you would be required to read the meeting material and participate in discussions and decisions.  We are a very nurturing group and value all input.  The only criteria is that you must believe that people who live with a disability have the right to live an ordinary life.

Being a committee member can be very rewarding knowing that you are actively engaged in running a service which seeks to ensure that people with a disability can exercise their right to engage in ordinary community settings of their choosing.

    • to participate as a member of the Management Committee as set out in the Roles and Responsibilities of Management Committee
    • to participate in monthly Management Committee Meetings
    • to participate in an Induction with an existing Committee Member
    • to undertake and maintain a Criminal History Screening as a required under the Disability Services Act 2006.
